FYI: SISSYDUDE Prints, Cards, T-Shirts & Pillows! OH MY!
OKAY, so I’ve added a few new design items to the SISSYDUDE shop @ Society 6… and here’s what they look like:
getting ready to clean the kitchen in my (((NEW))) GODDESS Die Junge boxers!
So I’m about to clean my kitchen which has become a disaster of empty shopping bags, dirty plates & PIN UPs magazines. Just got my GODDESS Die Junge Boxers in the mail… so I thought I’d share my AWESOME kitchen cleaning outfit with you today. Me-Wow Mix Tank by Mustache 3rigade. Oh My God… when did I get old man ass??!!!
A CREATIVE LIFE: It’s NEVER TOO LATE! It’s TRUE!!!
I was let go from my day job recently. It was a bit of a shock… yet kinda funny in a way. I had a few pissed off “FUCK THEM!” days.
But it’s all good… I take it as a positive swift kick in the ass!
Truly.
I’ve almost been unemployed for a month and I just seem to finally be getting it back together and “focusing” (not on that work time schedule anymore). Thank goddess for a good severance package so I have time to work on what I really want to do.
I’ve been an artist pretty much all my life (except maybe from birth to 8 months). The thing is I’ve never seemed to make a living as just an artist. There has always been full & part-time work involved so I can stay a float. I’ve seen friends after years of struggle finally get to do what they love full-time & survive, some just through talent, guts and/or luck have just been doing it from the get go. It’s inspiring to see how they blossom. I can be a tad jealous of them at times but when you love them it’s easily manageable.
Well, I’m a late bloomer. I come from a family of them I’m told.

Thanks to Toronto-based design studio MADE, when you raise your auction paddle at this year’s Line Art, you’ll be bidding *on* art *with* art!
Twenty designers from all disciplines of design — industrial, material, environmental, architectural, graphic, furniture and fashion, among others — have produced a unique collection of 100 auction paddles. Each paddle is a work of art in its own right.
This one-night-only event is your chance to preview and purchase a paddle via silent auction. You’ll be able to use your paddle at the Live Auction on November 6 and, of course, take it home with you afterwards.

Paddles by Illustrator Thom Sevalrud.
Thom’s paddles are inspired by semaphore signaling flags to form the word YOUTH. Each paddle is one of those letters. “I took great liberties with the symbol designs and while keeping the design form for each alphabet letter, I complicated the ‘language’ of those letters with flamboyant patterns and designs. The word QUEER appears over top, thus forming QUEER YOUTH. Defiant, colorful and individual.”
