Irwin Toy’s Interior Decorator Set (by Marvin Glass and Associates) 1964
The Interior Decorator Set was introduced in 1964 and was advertised in House & Garden magazine. Sets were made with interchangeable interlocking parts that the company claimed could be assembled in 1,001 combinations. The furniture could be used in dollhouses, but it was designed to help adults decorate a room. The scale is 3/4 inch to 1 foot, not the slightly larger scale of 1 inch to 1 foot used in dollhouses. Sets were made with different pieces and could be assembled to make furniture for different rooms..
