in my room… it’s all in the details.
Hey look… it’s baby ME!!!
So, my new kitty Sebastian is the sweetest thing ever… and he’s a total monster too! Love him. My recently deceased loves Kiki & Joe never broke things… and I have a lot of breakable things. I broke more than they ever did. Sebastian loves to jump on anything… anytime… all the time. Lamps have fallen (the ones you see here), scarves and curtains ripped, ceramic pig (and other ceramics) broke to bits. So, after a couple of months living together he seems to be calming down slightly. During this time I’ve been moving things around in the bedroom. Changing things up a bit. I got rid of my headboard and foot board that I’ve had for like 20 years. My bed is now on the ground like it was when I was a teen. I’m kind of loving it. I think Sebastian and I have found our groove together. So let me take you on an “intimate” tour of my bedroom (Sebastian’s playroom) …
These bellhop looking studs are nailed to the bedroom door. Welcome!
The late Arpad Miklo’s dildo sits proudly a top of a stack of art books.
My hat with a vintage World’s Fair scarf adorn the lampshade. Sebastian likes to pull these off with his claws or teeth!
Some of my bow ties.
Great hand beaded floral thingy… and the shoes are a gift from my friend Juul Haalmeyer. They were worn by Catherine O’Hara when she played Lola Heatherton on SCTV. Covet!!!
Scrap book lady.
Close-up of my vintage pillows and my designs for The Sissydude Shop. The sleeping Al Parker was just a one off.
Malibu Ken. I think he’s the only HOT version there ever was of Ken.
That’s a painting by me on the top.
The praying boy was used for my cover design of Greg Kearney’s short story collection Pretty.
Close-up of an “outsider” painting. You can’t really see it that well but it says “Scotty” on the side of the boat.
Bed side table ceramics & books.
The table top here is unusually very empty … had to make room for the beast’s jumps and take-offs.
Great old Margret Keene print with a gold “Walter Keene” plaque on the frame.
A gift from my friend Maurice Vellekoop
Bow ties & bears!
Play fight intermission!
The dresser. Top drawer is crammed full of undies.
Love this statue and her sometimes creepy face.
Beloved clip-on tie that I wear a lot.
Original press photo of Al “The Bronx Beauty” Singer.
Detail of some of my ties.
Weird and wonderful pics over the doorway.
A Dollarama box filled with S.T.H.s & BUTTS.
Tin for tie clips and pins.

stack of vintage porn on the antique wicker bedside table.
Kenner’s R2-D2 from the 90’s toy reboots.
I forgot I had these 3 AMAZING photos! They were hiding behind the bedroom curtains. Got three of them for $10. The baby kills me!
An old painting of mine.
Decal on the side of an old toy box.
My Manitoba past.
Ceramic bear was given to me and made by my friends Alexx Boisjoli & Ian Phillips.
This pic is only like 3 inches tall. I love it. I’m always entranced by it. Where are they? Are they in Toronto?
The doll that looks like Little Edie.
Do you see penis?
Detail of my vintage San Francisco TWA poster.
I love old scrap books. Here are three of my faves. Let’s take a peek inside…
This pic happened to just fall out of the Bride’s Book. I bought it separately. I must have thrown it in there for safe keeping. Gorgeous image.
See… Bed on the floor. I highly recommend it.
