oh mighty isis!
Clothing giant American Apparel has teamed up with GLAAD on a new line of equality tees, just in time for LGBT Pride Month. And in a company first, AA is featuring an openly transgender model in its ad campaign! GLAAD worked alongside American Apparel in casting for the new ads, which will run online and in print.
Former America’s Next Top Model contestant and openly transgender model Isis King is among those donning the Pride shirts in ads that will appear online and in print across the nation. Joining her in the ad campaign are four current and former GLAAD staff members, among others.
Fifteen percent of all proceeds from the shirts benefits GLAAD’s work to share stories that build support for equality.

‘legalize gay’ is such a cringe-worthy slogan.
plus, it’s out of date. ‘gay’ was legalized in the u.s. when the sodomy laws were struck down by the supreme court in 2003.
oh..and the clothes are ugly too.

Oh El… always down on things.”legalize Gay” cringe-worthy? Gay may be legalized in the US and other countries… but it’s still illegal in a lot of places. “Sodomy laws can be found around the world. Today, consensual homosexual acts between adults are illegal in about 70 out of the 195 countries of the world (approximately 36%); in 40 of these, only male-male sex is outlawed.” Now that’s cringe-worthy! The clothes ugly? To each his own. But when I see young people workin’ the Studio 54 look… I always love it… it’s fun and silly sexy. Also this is ISIS, a transgender model… looking so AMAZING here!
