Here’s poor Marlon in Moscow with “SUPERSTAR” Philipp Kirkorov and some bombed blondeshell. He’s at the MUZ TV Awards. Marlon was featured in Kirkorov’s creepy music video “Sneg” (in which Marlon lip syncs to Kirkorov) and they all won an award (that looks like a hubcap with a goiter) for best music video. Is it just me or is Marlon in trouble? Has Kirkorov touched Marlon’s bathing suit area? I’m very worried… hold me.
haha, Philipp is Russia’s self-proclamed king of pop and probably the most famous glass-closteted gay celebrity. He used to be married to our primadonna Alla Pugacheva and this unknown vulgar blond is a one-time beard for the event, I guess. We have a whole bunch closeted gay celebrities, gay and lesbian, actually. Some came out or expessed themselves more openly in the 90s when there was a bit more freedom (I even remember seeing this jam on MTV in about 1997 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLydZucHe5U ) During Putin’s reign everything became a lot less tolerated though general public became much more aware of homosexuality mainly because of Western influence.
Anyway, just a brief and partial history of queer pop culture in my motherland:)
I hope Marlon finds a better company than Philya Kirkorov
